Learn how to make money from your blog

Today post is for people who have their own blogs and working on them for some months at least. We need to be passionate about our blogs if we want to make any real money from it. With passion, we need lots of knowledge about the subject we are blogging and lots of hard work for doing content writing and link building kind of stuff. To start making money from a blog, we need to have a blog that gets lots of search engine hits on daily basis and have good page rank as well. We can earn lots of money from our blog if it’s about a particular niche and gets lots of visitors from major search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ak.com.

But we should not expect to get rich overnight from our blog if we don’t have substantial amount of traffic on our blog. So the key for getting rich and making money with our blogs is generating lots of traffic on it. And when we have good amount of traffic on our blogs, we can expect of earning few hundreds to thousands of dollars every month from our blogs. So here are some techniques we can implement straight away on our blogs to start making money from it:

• Google Adsense: is a pay per click (PPC) program offered by Google where we get paid for every click to an ad on our blog. And the amount of money we make from Google Adsense depends upon the amount of traffic we generate and the kind of keywords we target on our blogs. Google Adsense has lots of advertisers who are willing to place their ads on our blogs. So if any of you don’t have an Adsense account applies for it now. Google Adsense is the easiest way to earn money from any website or blog. And if we already have a Google Adsense account, it goes not take much time to implement Adsense ads on a blog.
• Blogads.com: is a website where we can sell advertisement on our blog and can decide the amount of money we are willing to get paid for every sold ad on our blog. Best thing that we get with Blogads is that we have full control over the advertisers that will be placed on our blog which we were missing with Google Adsense. But to make any real money with it, we should keep ads rate reasonable. We will not be able to make any money from our blogs if we become too choosy about advertisers or keep our rates too high.
• Selling more text/banner ads: For addition revenue, we can sell private ads on our blogs by creating an ‘Advertise here’ kind of section on our blog. With private ads, we can sell text and banners in different formats on our blog. And if possible, we should do limited amount of paid reviews in a month time. If we keep on adding paid/sponsored posts on our blog, we are having the risk of using credibility and reader’s faith from our blog.
• Affiliate programs: We can try some affiliate program to earn some extra money from our blogs. Amazon.com is a popular affiliate program. In this kind of advertising, we have to place Amazon products on our blogs with our affiliate ID and when any of our blog readers follow those links to buy a product from Amazon, we earn commission up to 15 percent depending upon the sold product. Some other popular affiliate programs are LinkShare, CommissionJunction and ClickBank
• Adding a Donation Button: There are some websites like Paypal.com that helps you add a Donation Button on your blog. Asking some kind of donation from blog readers is the easiest way to make money online. Some of your blog readers may help you run your blog with some donation if they really love the content on your blog.
