In the last three to four months time, I got some advertising inquiries on my blog. I was really happy when I got my first inquiry. At that time, the only thing that was going through my mind was ‘How much I should charge’. If Charge too much, I was afraid of losing the only advertiser that I got. And if I thought about charging little, I would not be able to property utilize the only money making opportunity I had. I spend some time on internet looking at what other bloggers are charging in my niche, how much I would have made if I had added some PPC ad there and many more. There were many more factors that I took into consideration before deciding the final pricing for an ad on my blog:

Fair amount of money: We should charge in such a way both you and advertiser remain happy. Advertiser should get the value for the money he spends in form of impressions, actual visits, form fill up or lead generation. The whole deal should not end in a way where advertiser feels that it’s was a bad deal or just waste of money on your blog.
Charge on CPM basis: we could charge on CPM (cost per thousand) basis. We could start charging $5 per CPM and can increase the rates if we decide to place ads in the header section or above the fold in the sidebar on your blog. But before you send the advertising rates, It should be clear, what kind of advertising he is actually willing to purchase i.e. if it will be a text link or 125×125 banner and if the ads will appear on home page or will appear on all pages on your blog as well. There are many more factors we can take into consideration while deciding the advertising rates like your blog traffic, page rank, Alexa ranking, niche and demographic factors.
Check other people’s blog: To get clearer idea about advertising rates, check advertising page of top blogs in your niche and industry. You can test the amount of money you should charge by placing a Google Adsense unit in your blog section where you want to sell some ad space. Keep Adsense ads on your blog for 10 to 15 days and get value for that space in your Adsense advance report section under eCPM.

Installing this plugin will have a better appearance in the comment section with all the commentators with their own image in his comments.

The Tweetbacks imports the tweets/conversation about an article on your blog and enters it in the comments section. You can display among other comments of the article or show them separately. So, when someone tweets with the URL ofyour blog or any of your items, it will automatically be included in the comments section of your blog.

This part includes Keyword Researching through a Google Tool (no it’s not that older one) about which you will read in this article. Also you will read some popular types of styles in article marketing which gains maximum profit.

How to Use Our Target Keywords In Articles

Your articles should be written such that the target keyword “Registry Cleaner Software” appears within the article title, the first and last sentences of the article body. We should also use the keyword within the middle paragraphs. A trick to get higher ranking is to break the keyword up and use the words in the title.

Basically, what they do is to stuff their target keywords everywhere in the article title and body to trick the spiders into thinking that their content contains quality information related to the keywords, hence the mentioning of the keywords all the time.

Google caught up with their acts and decided that content should be ranked according to its overall context to the keyword, rather than just the keyword count and density. In other words, when we create our article, we are going to make them contextual to the keywords we are trying to rank.

TIP: Think along the line of offering useful information that is contextual to the target keyword and you will do well in terms of LSI/LSA.

There are different types of articles we can write. I have tested many. Review style, “How To” and List-style articles are the most popular and converts the best.

1. Review Style
A review style article talks about the pros and cons of certain products or services. Using our “registry cleaner software” example, we may talk about the pros and cons of a particular software, say RegCure.

If we are promoting “Commission Blueprint”, an IM product, we can do it the same way.

The easiest way to write a review is to go to Google for information and rewrite it. The best is of course to buy/download the product and give a complete “dissection”. Do not appear to sound biased. Include one con at least to sound neutral.

I’d say, 4-5 posts of 400-500 words each will be more than sufficent. And of course, pages. Do NOT forget to edit and change the About page. And make sure you add a ‘Contact Us’ page.

Additionally, try to include (if appropriate) these pages; ‘Privacy Policy’, ‘T.O.S’, ‘Sponsored Posts’, ‘Link Exchange’. They may not apply to everyniche, but include them in the ones you feel they would do well in. They raise the overall ‘professional’ outlook.

SEO and Promotion

You installed the SEO plugin. Use that, along with pretty-permalinks and make sure your blog has search engine friendly URLs as well as appropriate titles, keywords, description, etc for each post and page. This is optional, but recommended.

Once you’re done with SEO, you’ll have a mini blog with content, a unique logo/header, a decent theme, and all the necessary plugins.

With the internet booming like never before, it’s easy to see that right now it is a good time to be in affiliate sales. With lots of new products launching everyday there is a whole list of things that you can promote. You don’t have to deal with your customers or support or billing or any of the other crazy things that come with owning your own product. You have to simply select a product, and promote it in any way you want.

This is not any how to promote a product article. What I am going to discuss here is what products to promote. Many times affiliates get so caught up in promoting the products for their maximum benefit that we forget a very important factor i.e The Product.

You can promote any product you want, but if there is nobody who wants to buy it then the results of your efforts are going to be waste. So how do you know what products to promote?

Well it all depends what you have going for you at the moment. Do you have a list, or multiple lists. This can be an easy source of cash. Look at what a particular list wants to buy. Why did they join your list in the first place. Now go and look for a product that fits their wants.

Alternatively, you can take help of Google for promoting a product. Just jump up to Google’s Product Search there you will find a list below search box with keywords of products being searched.

Now, after you selected the product to be promoted, you should also look at the commissions. You want to promote a product that has good commission payout; at least 60-75 %. And also just as important, how often and how much has the product payed out, and in what time period. If the product is paying out large amount of cash, in short amount of time, obviously it’s a hot seller/popular and you want to join the group of people that are making money of the product.

Also, make sure what exactly is the product. It may be a hot seller, and the description might fit your lists needs, but have you actually checked out the product? You don’t want to be building a relationship with your list about a particular product only to offer it to them and have a lot of hate mails in your inbox the next day because you told them about a really crappy offer which doesn’t works. Always make sure and investigate that the product is good to be promoted by you.

If you don’t have a list all the same applies, accept you need to target quality traffic that will be interested in the product, and even better you may want to capture them onto a list if you can.
